What are you creating? Who can say. Only you - and only you'll know if - and when, it's good enough. The stories before you are not yours right now, but you'll make them yours soon enough.

STORY

[ The townsfolk outside tell a story - they ask for salvation, to be protected from the coming storm. Only you and your compatriots can save them. An item of offense is what they need, and the story they tell reflects the refuge they seek - you need only fill in that which is left unspoken. ]

Think about something {emotion1}. That's about the only thing we have, you know. Most stories end in disaster, but mine started with {memory/event1}. I guess that gives me a unique outlook on life?

Think about something {emotion2}. It's dark and scary, yes, but sometimes you have to think about the dark and scary things. It's the only way to avoid {memory/event2}.

Think about something {emotion3}. Why? Because it'll protect you. Protect you from what? Nothing, if you're careful.

Stop thinking. Fall apart. Decompose. In the end, {memory/event3} is all that's between you and eternity. So stop thinking and laugh! You'd better make it count.

You may also share additional memories/events or emotions independent of the story to bolster your object.

[ spamming the button until he pulls a memory that fits. i will not be describing these in detail.

1. You wake up in total darkness and are briefly alarmed until you remember you're wearing a blindfold and this is part of training; you're practicing not needing to use your vision to navigate. It has to be second nature. That's why you're not taking this off for a month.

2. You're practicing landings. You're not very elegant at them yet, and you go too fast for your own good as always. In this case, you land too fast and the impact causes your ankle to roll. Maybe it's broken? You can't tell, but it hurts. The on-staff nurse is heading to you at least.

3. You're signing autographs for fans! A child grabs a handful of your feathers and begins to try to climb up your wings. They can support his weight, so you just laugh it off, but it is a little uncomfortable...

4. You're stopping a bank robbery! On the way to doing that, though, you also help an old lady carry her bags up some stairs and rescue a kitten from a tree. You've got time to spare.

5. You're on stage in front of an audience, and the other top ten heroes are giving boring speeches that just regurgitate the latest discourse that's been going around. This is annoying, and you say so, loudly, before grabbing the mic.

6. You come inside and your mother turns all her eyes on you, pale-faced, terrified. 'What do we do, Keigo? Your father was arrested. Endeavor caught him trying to steal a car.' She might be terrified, but you're ecstatic to hear this, because FUCK your dad

7. You sneak into a cold room and pull what looks like a corpse off a table. After making sure nobody is looking, you jab a syringe of something into its chest and he gasps awake. 'Good morning, sleeping beauty,' you say to him with a smidge of stress in your voice.

8. You are having an angry conversation with a man who appears to be partially stapled together and covered in burns. He didn't follow the plan you'd agreed on; the monster he released was supposed to be the next day, by the harbor. He counters by saying you didn't follow the plan either; what kind of hopeful member of the League of Villains makes sure every civilian is saved?

9. You are only not late for work because your morning routine consists of doing every morning task simultaneously. This is a thing you can do when you have a bunch of feathers you independently control.

10. You are mingling with other Top Ten heroes in the backroom of an event when an alarm goes off. Everyone else rushes out to deal with it; you hang back and just keep eating the free appies. Eventually a man in a suit rushes in and ushers you out (but you keep the plate of appies with you).

11. You're very young and rooting through trash cans to find food that is still kinda good, because the alternative is stealing and you can't bring yourself to do that.

12. You spend a whole meeting in an uncomfortable chair that just crushes your tailfeathers and have to pretend to pay attention the entire time.

13. Your mom agrees to take you out of the house, just this once, because you won't stop begging her, under the agreement that neither of you will tell your father. While she's out, she buys you a gift; a doll of Endeavor, the number two hero. She can't afford the All Might dolls, but these ones are discounted. She tells you to be strong like this guy. You've never gotten a present before. You love it. ]

[ The townsfolk outside scream in terror - they are under attack! No matter how strong the item you made before was, it could never prevent the forces arrayed against this land from descending as a violent maelstrom...but all hope is not lost. With what you've made, they can fight. They need only one thing from you - an item of protection to guard against the weapon of hearts that has been brandished against them.

This time, they do not just tell you a story. They also tell you what you are facing. What you must overcome. What you must protect them - and yourself from. If your hearts are not strong enough...

...You will suffer. ]

I'm fighting. Every day I'm fighting. Every day, all for outrage. What else could I have done? I was betrayed.

People got hurt. But I still couldn't stop. You know that, right? It's all because of confusion. It's all because of this suffering. It's all because -

You'll forgive me, right? I just need someone to forgive me. Please, that's all I need. Just once, before tomorrow. Before it's all over...! Before I have to face my brother!

I fought. Every day I fought. Every day, all for outrage. And now, I'm nothing more than lost.

This is Voidrage, a legendary spear. It is crafted from a strongly hateful and hateful heart. It menaces with spikes of blood. It is engraved with images of idols finding fraternity and losing themselves. It exudes a terrifying aura, haunted by a spirit of suffering and confusion.
