HEARTFORGE - sensitIV (Session 4)

You are in the heart of a massive forge. In front of you are tools, and your objective is clear - to use them to channel the strength of your heart and create.

What are you creating? Who can say. Only you - and only you'll know if - and when, it's good enough. The stories before you are not yours right now, but you'll make them yours soon enough.

And you will survive.

The room is quiet, excepting your voice and the voices of the two girls who have accompanied you tonight.

"An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them," You read to the girls, who listen to your words with curiosity, "and they were terrified."

"Why were they terrified?" The two ask. Though the premise is simple, it is nevertheless something you find difficult to explain—not only because of the context, but also because the two girls you speak to are not normal little girls at all. In fact, it would be incorrect to call them human—one is, in reality, a storybook, and the other is an amalgamation of children's grudges.

Still, they are children. Good children—you cannot help but mind them, and in Chaldea, where there is little else for you to do, you spend many of your days minding the girls. Their pure curiosity and innocence put you at ease; though they might be weapons of war, just as you are, they have hearts and minds without malice, and you feel compelled to keep them out of trouble.

"Angels," You explain, "Can look quite scary to humans. And, these humans thought that they might be in trouble."

"Oh—did they do something bad?"

"No—they did not. And, they were not in trouble, in the end. The angel came to them to bring them good news."

"Oh! What good news?"

And so you continue on with the story.

This is but a brief conversation, in consideration to the sands of time; your time in Chaldea is merely a short break—a promise to that person, your Master—before you return to making your dreams a reality. But, even in this short time, you've found something precious and wonderful; these quiet moments, you know, will give you the strength to move forward again.
