HEARTFORGE - ☆ZRAEL (Session 4)
You are in the heart of a massive forge. In front of you are tools, and your objective is clear - to use them to channel the strength of your heart and create.
What are you creating? Who can say. Only you - and only you'll know if - and when, it's good enough. The stories before you are not yours right now, but you'll make them yours soon enough.
And you will survive.

Re: DISCUSSION
But what sort of story should it be...?
Re: DISCUSSION
There once lived a witch. She was very Extremely Pretty and Intelligent and Great and had dreams of wealth befitting her incredible stature. Her life was perfectly great and she used her intelligence to amass her wealth, met and married several very attractive suitors and lived happily ever after. The end!
Re: DISCUSSION
First things first, what should we make? The witch seems vengeful at the end, so what about something intimidating like a morning star or a set of yuanyang blades?
Re: DISCUSSION
Very well. I suppose I can use my creative powers towards a tale fueled by spite, instead.
I suppose our witch really wants to mess some poor shmucks up, so it should be something that strikes fear upon sight, yes. Yuanyang blades can do that.
....I want her to be able to separate the individual sections into their own separate blades with magic and control them. So she can have the pointed blades flying around trying to stab her enemies while she still has the main curved blade in her hand.
Our witch is a multi-tasker, I'm fairly confident.
Re: DISCUSSION
So I suppose she starts out content, and then someone does something to disrupt her happiness? My own memories and emotions tend more toward the latter end of the story, but if I include experiences here I'm sure I can come up with something a little more even-keeled.
[ In the meantime, she puts some steel into the forge, stacks of different types that will need to be heat-welded together, flattened down and then shaped, quenched, and ground down sharp. ] Good thing I have a strong arm and a lot of stamina. And I do a lot of my own blade maintenance so I know a bit about this.
Re: DISCUSSION
I don't suppose you can do the physical labor for the parts where I pitch in memories and emotions, can you? Seeing as...
[She wiggles her arms a bit. NOODLES. They're NOODLES.]

Re: DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
You haven't seen the bad ones yet. But fine, if they don't bother you then that's better, I guess. [ In a way. ]
Re: DISCUSSION
We can't use every part of that story either, can we...?
Re: DISCUSSION
I can't believe this. I'm being creatively stifled.
Re: DISCUSSION
It's okay - it was a really wonderful story, wasn't it? It would be really nice if it was possible for things to go that way instead, wouldn't it?
Re: DISCUSSION
Yes, yes, I suppose our story of a witch who gets everything she wants because the universe agrees that she deserves it is just too bold and daring for the current market. I'll just have to self-publish it later.
In the meantime, I guess this is the story of a witch that messes some poor shmucks up after being pushed too far.
Re: DISCUSSION
[ as for the actual story at hand, here ... she eyes the tools a bit awkwardly. ]
Well, at least - things were really nice for her at first, weren't they?
Re: DISCUSSION
Perhaps she was happy at first because she had a sister.
1/2
Re: DISCUSSION
but it's definitely happened just now. she reaches with a hand to ruffle her hair. ]
- That's true! That's definitely true, isn't it? For anyone, but especially for witches, it's good to have siblings, isn't it? It's like that in covens too, right...?
Re: DISCUSSION
[She kinda likes that laugh. She's decided she wants to hear that again, sometime.]
Of course. I'm glad we're on the same page.
Re: DISCUSSION
Not a very happy story, unfortunately.
