Fine. I'll just buy a memory and go with whatever emotion it gives me. Nothing can be worse than last time.

A younger P, likely just having graduated high school, enters his home, calling out to this mother. His dad is away on business, per usual. He's a busy guy--a lawyer! And man is P ever so proud of him. There are a ton of feelings of wanting to be a good, upstanding citizen, having good morals, and doing all the right things, all because of his dad. He wonders when he'll be coming home.

He calls out to his mother again, hearing the television play as he approaches the common room. His mother sit there, staring at the screen. Slowly but surely, P realizes what has her fixated.

His father is on the news, having been caught acting as a lawyer for a child smuggling ring in China.

At the end of the broadcast, his mother faints.

So anyway, a pit of bitterness and betrayal there, what up.]
