Well, I might as well get countering 'family' out of the way.

That said, we've got a lot of rage and blood and stuff to counter.

I can provide more rage or blood if needed.

I don't think we should counter blood and rage with rage and blood.

...

But why not?

I feel like this is a saying. It's like, an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind?

Maybe the world would be better blind though?

Well, the point of it is that if you retaliate with violence to violence, all you're doing is adding more violence.

...and?

And so it doesn't solve the problem of 'there is violence', it increases it. It's like trying to fix a flood by blasting the water away with a big water jet.
