STORY

[ The townsfolk outside tell a story - they ask for salvation, to be protected from the coming storm. Only you and your compatriots can save them. An item of offense is what they need, and the story they tell reflects the refuge they seek - you need only fill in that which is left unspoken. ]

I'm fighting. Every day I'm fighting. Every day, all for {emotion1}. What else could I have done? I was {memory/event1}.

People got hurt. But I still couldn't stop. You know that, right? It's all because of {emotion2}. It's all because of {memory/event2}. It's all because -

You'll forgive me, right? I just need someone to forgive me. Please, that's all I need. Just once, before tomorrow. Before it's all over...! Before I have to face {memory/event3}!

I fought. Every day I fought. Every day, all for {emotion1}. And now, I'm nothing more than {emotion3}.

[ he hums. ] I like to think I am one with the storm. Or... at least parts of it, because, yes, I can control hydro and electro back home. Do you think we should make the story... interesting? How about fighting the gods?

Probably not... though our motivation can certainly stem from something that isn't completely pleasant. So whatever you feel most comfortable with.

[ for his 'fight with the gods' he's going to show the last supper intermission where he attacks and fights zhongli, though he ultimately dies... at least for a few minutes. then he's back at it and thrashing beneath him in an attempt to fight some more. ]

[ it's a memory from last supper. following the death of wild city's heart childe and the rest of WC went berserk. during the intermission he fights zhongli. ]

[This memory is very short. Bagel is standing in a doorway. There is a knife in his hand, and there is blood on it. He is crying.]

[In the distance, there are sirens.]

CORRUPTED.

[ It starts following the solution to a puzzle and then you're falling and fighting a monster in the abyss... though eventually the taint gets to childe and he transforms, becoming the true (final) boss. ]
