[immediately jerks upright when he awakens, sucking in a sharp gasp, hand shooting to his neck. he has one bandaged abdomen wound, but he seems to be leaking from. . . a bitemark-like injury on his neck now. yikes]

[looks up at Man Eater and freezes]
