[ it does hurt, and he winces, but he also looks genuinely surprised that Mars is letting him go.

his eyes follow Mars' hand, looking at the wound on his neck and then the one on his own shoulder. and he actually grins a little. ]

[and then just stands up and makes his weapon vanish as he dusts off his pants without another word]

[ he gets up, a little more carefully than Mars due to the fact that he's still bleeding from the shoulder, gingerly dusting himself off as well ]
