[Does not stop, instead sending some ridiculous amount of knives Yasuragiwards, thanks living forge. Most of them do not even get close to him because precision is for chumps, but the two that do would both hit for 8 each if he doesn't dodge; wow, leave Mom alone???]
The shot doesn't keep her down for long-- the moment she sees that gun leveled at Nem she's up again-- any weakness in her leg is made up for with Verticality, thankfully-- and dashes up behind Yasuragi, attempting to swing that axe down against his back.
[Once Cardigan leaves the melee Nemesis rushes up to take their place, especially when she notices Requiem's gone from at her back to at Yasuragi's. She yells, loud, desperate to draw back his attention--why do people keep shooting people not her. She brings her handaxe down at him, attempting to slash for 5 damage]
[ Oof, right in the gut. She wheezes, and collapses, bleeding out on the floor right in front of him.
From the walls come the scurrying, hurried sounds of little creatures, spiny legs, scrabbling claws. Rats and mice peer from the cracks, their beady eyes shining. Snakes slither down, circling and hissing. Roaches and beetles and centipedes begin to congregate en masse, converging on Yasuragi's position, clawing and scraping up his legs, up his body, and begin to take him apart.

[ he does manage to dodge out of the path of the axe before everything starts going wrong, but then, you know. everything starts going wrong. he scrapes at his arms, breath catching, flinging the other tapestry off of himself as he keeps trying to back up until he ends up trapping himself against a wall. there's too many of them, he can't brush them off fast enough, there's nothing he can do but suffer through it as they take him bit by bit back

[Likely the result of being stabbed twenty five times or something like that, Cardigan is pure reaction.
Loki is distracted by the double, solid until it hits the ground, blocking Loki from them and them from Loki.
Their own damage is killing them.
And Yasuragi is right there—All they can hear is their own oath, swearing to kill them the next time. Which was now.
They summon a sword and ram it through Yasuragi's back one clean hit through the heart. Their forehead drops against his shoulder, so the last thing Yasuragi hears is Cardigan's dying gasp of his name.
Once she realizes A) no one's paying attention to her anymore because B) Cardigan isn't getting back up, Nemesis starts backing the fuck away--without them, their odds of surviving this situation have very quickly tanked, and in a rare show of wisdom, she listens to her better judgement. [ she stumbles when Nem pulls at her, but goes with easily, clutching her axe-hand to her stomach over the gunshot wound. And it takes a long moment to figure out what she's looking at-- or looking for-- through the exhaustion beginning to set in.
But she eventually figures it out. And starts looking for a weak point-- but with a strategics roll of 6 and as hazy as her vision is getting, that's a no go. ]
[Despite the hurry--if Requiem can't make it, what's even the point--she's able to find a hanging brick in the ceiling--jumps to try and hit it with her axe. With a strategics of 3, a promising amount of dust and rubble fall--but the weapon catches in the ceiling, not quite enough momentum to get it knock it loose all at once. One more tug and she'll have the the building down for sure--she looks back for pursuers just in case--]

He's squeezing tighter and she's already fading, so she uses the last of her energy to fling her own axe as hard as she can at the handaxe Nem had left wedged in the ceiling. With a loud and successful clang, it strikes, and the ceiling begins to rumble above them.
And that second or two seems a bit too long as Req squeezes one eye shut, pained, and extends a hand-- almost like reaching for her-- and a weightless force throws her backwards into the tunnel. Good timing, too, as rocks begin to pour more and more steadily down between them. ]
