Rather, not just the members of your unit—there are people in this portrait (but wearing gold) that you may not recognize, but everyone is wearing your unit's fashion, so you can safely assume they're all past members. It's a lovely painting, all things considered, but maybe this setting is not the most lovely place you could be seeing it in.

Izanagi pulls the lever, and the elevator drops straight down into a pit, carrying sensitIV with it. It goes through clouds of incense and gas before returning back to where it initially started.

Everyone on the elevator who breathes in the incense will find themselves exhibiting the following symptoms:
More suggestible/naive, less doubtful
Drowsy
Optimistic!!! and generally feeling inebriated
Inability to focus
Burning in lungs
Itchy skin
Insatiable hunger for human flesh

[ The north torch burns gold.

The pendant does not actually burn, but the west torch becomes green nonetheless.

The east torch burns red.

The south torch burns blue.

There is a thud from the middle of the room.

Izanagi flips the lever, and the elevator travels upward, carrying sensitIV along with it. ]

A section of the ceiling falls, partially crushing Janus and anyone who does not move out of the way beneath it.
