You wouldn't need to take them down to put them to use... that sounds more like someone else just grabbed them. Like you're doing now.

I don't see how that's a bad strategy in a game where we're made to target and kill each other.

Especially when I have bad experiences with a Taisho trying to kill me in similar games before.

They're not really that important to me... I just thought it might help a friend of mine protect himself.

On the other hand, carrying them around seems a little dangerous. If a Taisho gets your blood on some of those, you could be in trouble.

Is there an advantage to using them? How do they work?

I'm not entirely sure... but all the areas around this one appear to give advantages to certain units' abilities, so I assume this really will make you stronger if I officiate it as a contract.

I'd have to stay by your side though, right?

In that case, I'd only be doing that if it covered the princess as well.
