[ Baker Bayonet Rifle - Shoots from a distance, as a ranged weapon-- it takes other characters two turns to reach you or two for you to reach them. Roll precision with a -3 modifier. If you roll successfully, do +2 damage. If you unsuccessfully, you miss and make a lot of noise, along with taking -1 damage from recoil. Reloading takes a separate comment from shooting, and must be done after every shot if you want to shoot again. Alternatively, you can use it as a bludgeon or as a shitty sword, and roll strength or precision for a straightforward +1 damage. ]
AND
[ Rapier - If your character knows how to use a sword, +2 to damage output. If they do not know how to use a sword, +1 damage. All rolls made with a rapier are always precision, never strength. ]
I'm not entirely sure... but all the areas around this one appear to give advantages to certain units' abilities, so I assume this really will make you stronger if I officiate it as a contract.

well, it's like a sword. close enough.]
Re: THE DEAD CENTER
What are you doing with those?
Re: THE DEAD CENTER
They were missing the last round. So I was assuming someone put them to use. Ergo...
[useful.]

Especially when I have bad experiences with a Taisho trying to kill me in similar games before.

... I don't want to fight you over them. I don't really want to fight most people here. I just want to keep myself and someone alive.
Re: THE DEAD CENTER
On the other hand, carrying them around seems a little dangerous. If a Taisho gets your blood on some of those, you could be in trouble.

Oath of Loyalty. Supposed to grant strength to someone staying by your side or something. The Taisho girl knows more, probably.

Is there an advantage to using them? How do they work?

In that case, I'd only be doing that if it covered the princess as well.

Re: THE DEAD CENTER
What if you both sign it? That gives you both strength, and puts you on the same side.
And I promise I wouldn't hurt either of you, either.
