Not like about bein' human though? More like existin' in general? But it got too tirin' ta think about so I just decided not ta worry about it too much.
[Lava and Rufous being sort of opposite ends of 'how to affirm personhood' is kind of why Pink didn't want to dig into it too much. Lava probably preferring(?) not to be a person, and Rufous definitely needing confirmation that he's a person...]
[Oh well...]
Well, I dunno about the choosin' itself bein' like... what it means ta be a person? I never chose it? But havin' the capacity ta think about it 'n want ta choose, like that impulse 'n self-awareness of wantin' ta be a person is probably a good sign for it, I think.
I mean, I'm not a philosopher or anythin', but complicatin' the answer to a question that down in your gut is preservin' who ya are is just gonna lead to a headache.

[Because he's like]
[Realizing he has trouble quantifying it in an in general sense beyond what he said.]

[He's]
[He's just]
[Having a bit of a crisis himself.]
I mean, choosing to be it is...right? I think its right. Getting to choose and grow and...stuff.

Re: DISCUSSION
[Thanks Belos.]
...that is true. Don't really choose to be born, just kind of thrown into it.
So its a sign, but not...what it actually means to be a person.
So its...its...family? No, not everyone has family...
Re: DISCUSSION
But just.. ya think, ya self-reflect 'n can question whether you're a person or not, 'n then it's sorta up ta you ta decide... I think that qualifies?
What's a person 'n what's it mean ta be a person are sorta different questions.

Re: DISCUSSION
[That's a thought.]
So...
Being able to self reflect and question, being able to decide to say I am I as the answer?
