When I first woke up, last round... people were injured, but they wouldn't even let me get near them when I offered to help. Just yelled at me to leave.
So... I'm worried about my unit, but in a different way.
I think I caught a glimpse of...Loki? I've never met him, but it looked like the picture on Loki's profile. He was at the center, just for a moment, right as I got there.
You're telling me. If... assuming I'm alive when the game ends, I'll be able to heal people, if they're willing. There's not... really much I can do if tempers flare, though.
I mean, from what little I've seen, most people have been pretty chill? I've run into a handful of folks and none of them have been aggressive toward me at all. But I have seen some people looking worse for wear, so I know fighting is happening somewhere.
Maybe people are just using this game as a way of venting their hostilities? I have no clue.
Maybe it's that, maybe it's the fact the rules explicitly spelled out there will be a full heal. Which kind of implies that if we don't give them a show then our units will probably be punished for it, one way or another.
...Could also just be that some of them are assholes.
...In the monster game, the rules were clear about what would happen if anyone refused to fight. This time, there aren't any rules like that.
[Thinking]
If I had to guess, I would suspect that by giving us an option not to do violence, they want us to be less forgiving toward people who actually choose to do it. And by that I mean, they're probably hoping we'll get revenge out-of-game.

Re: THE DESERTED BATTLEFIELD
Hurricane-san... isn't. He's one of the people I was talking about earlier, who wouldn't let me heal them.

[ Scrubbing at his face HE'S SURE SOME SHIT WENT DOWN. ]
How bad?

[ A sigh. ]
...There's a lot to deal with afterwards.

...I guess we're lucky we haven't really run into anyone else so far.
