You enter the Underground Lake! The water is cold and dark, and it's impossible to say where it comes from, or how deep it must be towards the middle. The only light comes from glowing iridescent moss growing up the cavern walls.

If you fell from the Chasm … congrats on the tremendous splash you just made! That might have hurt, though you'll be glad to know that you didn't break anything. Hopefully you can swim.

It recoils, but only for a split second! You might want to move fast if you want to get away.

SWIM. SWIM HARD. SWIM FOR YOU LIFE.

You make it safely, though the tentacles are still in hot pursuit.

PUNCHING BACK A TENTACLE WITH HYSMINE BLESSING AMPED STRENGTH ]

Something in the depths shrieks in pain! The tentacles ALL recoil this time, curling back in towards whatever beast lurks in the deep.
