[ childe lets out some kind of inhumane growl as he charges forward not a care in his zombie world. all he wants to do is fight vergil... and, ok, he'd like to eat him too, but he can do that after he wins. assuming he wins, sobs. when he notices the shine of the metal he steps to the side, bringing his arm up to block... but the blade is sharp so his risky move loses him his arm. however, it does allow him to get close enough to body vergil, knocking him back and hopefully giving him the opportunity to... bite, since, well, that's all he can really do. ]
[The fall knocks the wind out of him, and this sure makes it hard to fight back properly. You know, with a sword. So when he feels Carli's teeth, he drops the sword and grabs a fistful of hair to drag Carli's head back, trying to push his body back with the other arm.]
[ childe has gravity working for him at the moment, teeth gnashing as he frantically tries to bite vergil. come on, so close, coME ON! vergil grabs his hair though and manages to easily yank his head back, his body shoved and pushing him up and off. he staggers, the no arm situation making it hard to keep his balance as he turns to face him again. ]

[ stumbles back and... almost falls over. he manages to avoid doing so, but his equilibrium is fucked. he straights up as best he can, but then slumps forward, eyes becoming a bit more glassy as his thoughts scramble just a little bit more. he tries to say something, but it just comes out in a moan as he takes a step toward vergil. ]
[ he's lost a little bit more of himself, though his fighting spirit hasn't completely died. he won't stop until his light is snuffed. ]
[Well if Caeli's going to be like that... Why not just get feral. He closes the gap himself, grabbing Caeli's collar in one hand and trying to shred the man's throat with the other.]
[ look! there's not much he can do with no arms! ...but also that's his fault for losing them both. he tries to snap at vergil right before his throat is grabbed, but he... misses. a choked out sound follows as vergil just goes to fucken town on his throat, shredding it. the coughing turns to choking and all he can do is squirm around and try to thrash around and break free. eventually... he just goes limp, his eyes lolling into the back of his head as blood just gushes from his neck wound to cover vergil's hand and his own front. ]
[ he appreciates not being left behind. he doesn't want to be left among the scrapes of other mindless zombies that wandered this shithole to... explode, or whatever happens when the helicopter leaves. ]
