idolpro | Fanmail the Fifty-Second

Here you can submit fanmail for characters to read in-game! There are a few guidelines, of course:

No announcing the contents of private conversations in Imeeji to uninvolved parties (unless the players involved are all in agreement).

In general, do not use fanmail to powerplay/godmode, e.g. sending an informative letter so a character can have all of the information without interacting with another character, especially without consent from all involved parties.

Comments on canon must be avoided unless the memory has been broadcasted.

In general, no fourth wall breaking. "You're actually fictional, did you know?" and such letters of that nature are not allowed.

Nothing referencing anything that took place within unit dorms.

Art is allowed, fic is allowed, even just a letter is allowed.

Any food sent will be confiscated and replaced with a photo of the food.

While handmade merchandise is fine, fanmail cannot have useful items or personal items; plushes are alright, but clothes would be considered useful, here. Creepy and disgusting things are fine, regardless of how creepy/disgusting they are they cannot be useful.

Merchandise sent must be Imeeji or character-themed. You can send character keychains, but not keychains of the Bahamas.

All fanmail is anonymous. Fanmail may be signed by ex-idols, but unless the idol has established one themself, there are no indicators that guarantee an idol's identity.

Fanmail should not reference plot drops, or assume anything of the audience's true nature. While it's fine to send ridiculous fanmail, as well as fanmail with a continuity, you cannot send any fanmail that assumes the audience is dead, part of the damned, or anything beyond "a regular modern day fandom."

If you reference broadcasted memories, events, etc, to characters other than those directly involved, please note that you have permission from the affected players in your comment. If said permissions are not present, we will not post the fanmail.

Please mark NSFW fanmail as NSFW in the header.

If we find a submission breaks one of the above rules, we reserve the right to not post it, or otherwise edit it so that it may be acceptable to post.

If a character is on hiatus, the fanmail will be held in reserve until they return.

Fanmail will be posted on the first Sunday of every month. Fanmail closes at 10PM PST the night before that.

If you need to edit your fanmail, either DM youji or mora or comment again with the subject FIXED VERSION on the edited fanmail.

[ Aliza receives a ten-page doujin of her and Doctor going on a date! They're dressed in their fanciest clothes at a BiT jazz club, walk on the beach holding hands, and dance on a roof top. ]

[A delighted fan of 🐺AliDoc has put together a quite hastily-drawn doujin (it looks like photocopied pen, with hatching instead of screentones) with two thirds of them in harpy form, so that Doctor can get more of the femmedom he so richly deserves.

Highlights include a somewhat ("somewhat") fictionalized account of Doctor's date with [Alizarin], where he was absolutely in the middle of ~servicing~ her under the table when the game started and they both got yanked into the game tower; an only slightly exaggerated version of [Alizarin] and [Lupine]'s encounter in the sudden grove of trees; and [Lupine]'s lap dance square with Doctor, which seems to have been the inciting incident for the whole doujin.

In the doujin version of events, though, when endgame rolls around, winners get to keep their transformations instead of their favorite costumes, and [Lupine] is quick to approach [Alizarin] and suggest they team up on her new fiance.

After all, who doesn't like a hot lady to also have wings and fangs and claws— ]

["HOARDED" is a hastily-constructed doujin heavily featuring Dragon [Venti] and his feelings of Suddenly Possessive, which for some reason do not end with endgame. Hmmmm. Inconvenient. Embarrassing, tbh. It was one thing to expect [Aliza] and [Lupine] to put up with it for the course of a game, and a completely different thing to—

oh wait that looks like angst and this doujin is a no angst zone, so in fact the very second that [Aliza] and [Lupine] start to suspect [Venti] might still feel the need to keep them in his nest, they just turn up unannounced together. [Lupine] has even brought nonperishable snacks so they won't have to leave what the artist imagines his room looks like for a few more days...

And just when you were starting to think this was a mislabeled SFW doujin, off come everyone's clothes and the remaining ten pages are just smut. Phew!]

[FANART of Soul for sale or rent and 🐺 in harpy form, fully curled around one another with tangled tails and wings. It's genuinely very lovely.]

[This doujin opens with Dia missing Doodle something terrible. Aliza notices, and tries to organize a little party for Dia with the rest of ☆ZRAEL to cheer her up. Lumine, of course, is completely on board, and Reed is too, even though Reed definitely never met Doodle and the artist doesn't seem fully sure whether Lumine had or not.

What follows is honestly an extremely cute story, with Aliza and Lumine and Reed all putting their heads together and mostly successfully compensating for things the others don't know how to do, like say cooking. The end result is a little messy and a little awkward, but Dia is so touched she doesn't mind at all.]
