Battleship Team 1.

[ as you exit the elevator you find yourself in a sleek control room, though the subtle dripdripdrop of water coming from one of the corners of the room tells you that you're likely several leagues under the sea. it's fine... probably. sitting in the center of the room is an enormous table boasting a 3D grid with a display of ships that may look a familiar! to its left and to its right are more screens that seem to be showing nonsense, some of which are flashing, and there are dozens and dozens of buttons just begging to be pressed. comfortable chairs surround the table if you'd like to sit, but feel free to stand if that's your thing. at the head of the room is, perhaps, the largest computer monitor and its displaying a duplicate grid of the one on the center table... except it's blank. for now. it's these two grids that you'll be using in today's game. ]

and then he relaxes, looking mildly confused.
...and then startles again?!
...and then relaxes again.]
...I see. It's a halluc-cin-n-nation.
[hugging his knees to his chest as his body temp drops and he starts to feel very, very cold]
Re: Discussion.
Yes. [ he says as he watches the virus he's apparently contracted spread to honey and eat him alive. a moment later he's back. this never stops being jarring. he blinks a few times, shaking his head. ] It seems those ships were carrying something that affected the mind...
Re: Discussion.
having someone else nearby is also a good reminder that the constant flickers of featureless white walls he's seeing aren't real, too.]
...I wonder if these p-p-poisons are n-natural or created for the g-g-game.
...The p-p-producers have many p-powers.
...B-Being able to create f-f-facsimiles of living creatures with unnatural p-properties seems par for the c-c-course.
...I feel sorry for the fish. Even if they are n-n-natural p-poisonous, they probably aren't meant to be p-p-poisonous like this.
...Though I haven't read much about d-d-different kinds of fish, so I could be mistaken about that.
Re: Discussion.
[ honey,
he didn't need a fish lesson,
but you know what, if talking helps,
then he's happy to listen. ]
...not like this, I imagine, but I'm sure they were tampered with. A lot of early poisons were likely extracted from animals like these, so while normally I wouldn't mind being this close I'm afraid I'm losing both of my arms, so doing science is quite hard right now.
Re: Discussion.
...Oh. Yes, I suppose having n-no arms would make d-d-doing science somewhat d-d-difficult.
Re: Discussion.
Re: Discussion.
...It would be n-n-nice if that were the case.
...Losing a limb is quite p-painful, it seems.
