I don't know why I thought we might have more agency in the games than this, but-- we really don't have a way out of playing along.

[It bothers him greatly]

No matter what we do, people are likely to still get hurt.

[ . . . . . . . And knowing the recent opinion of his unit, he does feel that they...might not make it out of this unscathed.]

Yes... We can't save everyone. But at least... we can save one unit.

At least we aren't the ones asked to do harm this time... But I'm sorry you have to participate in one of this sort of game so soon.

[backstory]

[He shakes his head. This isn't his fault. All of them are in this terrible situation through no fault of their own.]

At least there is that...

[His fangs grit nevertheless.]

[he doesn't really want to think about how it's more likely than he'd like that they're going to die in a few hours

...There are people on Heart Soldier Senshi who are important to you, then?

They are people from my home world. So naturally... [They are dear to him, from what he's seen and heard so far.]

My master and brothers.

That must be nice, in a way. I mean, I wouldn't wish any of this on anyone... But to have other people who you knew before... You can support each other, then.

[backstory]

I do feel that way.

[He'd prefer they were not here at all, but their presence has helped aid in the recovery of some of his memories-- of learning a little of who he is, after all.]

But it is frustrating in a situation like this. While I very much desire to protect them, it may not come to any good right now.

Mm... At the very least, I feel Heart Soldier Senshi has a good chance of surviving. They have good relations with most everyone, as far as I can tell.
