Sounds more like a game where they want to watch units in turmoil, fighting over who to protect, then despair if and or when that protection is or isn't returned.
SensitIV and Pep are the obvious choices, one can heal and the other can revive, but SensitIV's shown themselves to be... well, to play however they want. So I don't think they're much of a choice there.
