Hey. Let's wreck this stupid place.

[ Surveys the room before looking back down at her, an eyebrow quirked ]

Pillows aren't doing much for you, Kohime?

[Abruptly snatches one and violently drags her claws down it. How's that for an answer.]

[ His expression quirks a small smirk into place and he picks up one of the small jewelry boxes mixed in amongst the books and upends it over her, sending cheap bracelets raining down ]

Better?

[purrrnicious]

[Grabs a fistful of those and hurls them across the room as hard as she can with an angry cry.]

No! This is stupid! We should be allowed to at least try and defend ourselves! What kind of game is it to just sit here and wait to die?!

[peaceofwork]

It's proving a point.

[ He picks up one, and after a moment works out where to tug so it will snap and the faux-pearl beads will fall into his hands. ]

[Okay but maybe she can up the ante and take the now emptied jewelry box and hurl it at one of the light bulbs.]

What. Point.

[ whistles as the box collides and ducks so the swinging lightbulb isn't in danger of beaning him in the face ]

About the nature of power.

We're helpless, certainly, but so are all the other units. They're all hoping that someone likes them enough to save them— we're saving your friend's unit. After this, we have that power. We saved them from their fate. If you're infamously disliked, there's power there too-- fear, the possibility someone will graciously show you charity. Everyone likes an underdog, after all.

The truest form of being helpless and lacking power here is to be forgotten all together.

[At least she hits pause on the property damage after that speech.]
