[ ... slowly pulls back, to reach up and look into his face and cup his cheek in the palm of his hand ]

... I want you... to taste something of a full, rich life. You didn't get much of a chance for one, before. Closing myself off from others suits my own disposition just fine, but you...

The people here have treated you fairly well, this far, haven't they? Clumsily, cynically, perhaps, but with open hearts, and open minds.

[he leans into that touch, eager, hungry, even as his lip trembles]

... whatever kind of life I can have in the future--however full or rich--I want you to be a part of it. I will bear any scorn that comes of that, and I will do so proudly.

[ internal gears turning, voice low and whisper-quiet ]

[wavers, both of those sound really bad]

[he clenches his eyes shut, a little teary... but he nods]

[ tugs him down a little and kisses his cheek ]

After you've shared it around, come meet me back in here again, won't you? Yusuke.

Yes, of course.

[he kisses yasun's other cheek before taking a breath and striding back out]

[sonof]

[ actually just flatout waits in the room for a while ]

[he comes back after a bit, rubbing his face and looking weary, but manages a small smile for yasu]

[sonof]

[ goes to meet him by the door, offering out a hand for his ]

Are you prepared?

[he takes it]

... as much as I will ever be.

[ kisses his knuckles ]

Lean down a bit?

[leans down, expecting kisses]

Yes?

[sonof]

[ tangles his other hand in Fox's hair and does in fact kiss him

for a couple seconds before he grips his head and slams his head into the wall next to him to try and knock him out flat in one hit ]

[of course fox wasn't expecting it, so the only real reaction is a muffled cry of surprise... and then he slumps down the wall to the floor, out cold]

[sonof]

[ cool that worked out pretty okay

slumps down next to him and adjusts Fox so he can curl up in his arms, face tucked against Fox's chest with his arms wrapped around his torso in turn

and waits. ]
