Heart Games: Sol [#0: TUTORIAL]

Let's say you stepped through a door to get here-- you’ll find that the door disappeared behind you, and there are no other doors in sight.
You are now in a big, round room, with numerous staircases and walkways along the walls which are lined with massive bookshelves.
There is a table in the center of the room, surrounded by eight chairs, and seven white books in front of them. There are also eight empty mugs, one in front of each chair. In the middle of the table there are plates stacked with... sandwiches, mostly? Different types of sandwiches that should taste good without heating.
. . . Which is for the best, really, because this place is Cold, even for Big Library standards.
Powers are off!

Tutorial
If you look in the direction of the noise, you'll see a short girl who is wearing a big hat and wizard robes comes out of one of the corridors between bookcases. She holds a staff taller than herself in her left hand. She also looks impatient.]
I see, so you are the unregistered ones. Very well. Maybe you can be of some use after all.
[Not waiting for an answer, she crosses the room and takes the eighth chair for herself. Once she’s there, she sits down and taps the edge of the table with her finger twice.
Everyone’s cups are filled with tea-- or in the case of the one that is closest to Fox, with coffee.]
Sit. Your drinks won’t stay warm for long, and we have important matters to discuss.

He helps himself to the teacup and waits for her to speak.]

Begin discussion, then, if you will.

You are now in a place called the the Great Library room. This is a place of knowledge linked to a world you should not get to know like this, and not somewhere you should be.
Fortunately for you, I have no desire to see you die or be synthesized or otherwise altered, and I believe your influence may be more beneficial than detrimental for this world as it is now. That is why I’m willing to provide you the information and resources you'll need to survive outside this room long enough for me to figure out how to dele-- er, send you back.

Unregistered? What do you mean by that? And who are you?
Re: Tutorial
You are not native to this world, therefore you don't have a proper registration number.
My name is Cardinal. I am the former Pontifex, and the only one who can help you survive in this place.

[she's smirking but her voice is completely deadpan]
Memorize as much of it as you can before you leave. This Primer should only exist inside this library.
Once you leave this library, which you will do shortly, you will be treated as a legitimate part of this world unless --or until-- you are identified as unregistered. Everything you say or do will be held to the same standards as everyone else here. There are, of course a number of variables that may affect how and which rules apply, depending on where you are-- for example, a nobleman may have judicial authority only in certain areas. Hopefully, you know what I mean by “judicial authority” by now!
As temporary members of this setting, you will found yourself bound by the same laws as its members, with the additional disadvantage that even if you break rules you were not aware of at the time, you will be held accountable and punished for doing so. Good luck!
The penalty for breaking the Taboo Index is worse than death. If you do that, you may not make it back as you are now. Whatever you do, act with that in mind.

[she puts her right hand right above her coffee mug and draws a traced a curvy figure in the air, S and a c. with her index and middle fingers]
--and then tapping the unit you wish to view.
[she taps her mug and a status window pops up in the air almost immediately! Then she quickly touches the window once, before anyone can peek, and it disappears]
You can check the Stacia Window for anything you come across with a simple command! As long as the target is clearly defined by you in your comment, it will work and you can consult the item’s information, which may have important information or be completely useless.
Example:
Sc own coffee mug
Go on, try it yourselves.

System #3
Don’t lose focus. We’re still not done.
In this place, strength-- true strength-- cannot be measured in numbers. It comes from the mind, and is fed by your resolve. Therefore, your ability to envision-- to imagine your desired outcome can make a difference between success and failure. You may think of it as a way to actively influence your odds, but it can be more than that. In this world, even objects can store memories, and everyone here has the potential to momentarily overwrite reality.
However, using the power of imagination is not as simple as feeling strongly about something or thinking hard enough about it. The more aware this place is of your identity, the more biased it may be against certain actions you take. Someone who is known to be a liar won’t be able to exert any influence by borrowing on the power of honesty.
Personal parameters such as your System Authority, and external parameters such as spatial resources, play an important role in this as well. So don’t take this lightly, or you will regret it.
Even if you have nothing else, the power of imagination can get you out of trouble! (or not)
In general, there are two ways to use the power of imagination. Both of them will require Many Words, aka heavy OOC lifting from you, which is fair because this will also make me work but can also make things more fun.
Motivation Exposition: A character may consciously focus their thoughts on something/ describe their feelings/ say a touching monologue/ have a Flashback Moment/ etc, and momentarily affect their own stats and raise their chances of success at anything!
Describe the intended result in detail: By doing this, you can overwrite reality as long as it's not Too Much! Things like making something grow bigger,
🔥 WARNING 🔥
Be mindful of spatial resources! Imagination enhancement is treated as a trump card, so important/ key items may disappear to "pay" for the activation of this skill.
It is also possible to activate it without meaning to, and this will also eat up spatial resources. Just... be careful, okay.
It’s fine not to use this. Most people in this world don’t even know it is even possible. But I wanted you to know about it, because depending on your actions, this may be used against you.

Choose an ability
It is time for you to leave. To avoid being tracked down, I will open a different door for each of you, leading to slightly different locations, and then I will delete it. You won’t be able to make it back here once you’re outside, but I will look for you as soon as I can. Your help, if you want to give it, will be appreciated. If not, just avoiding a bad fate will be more than enough.
Now, one last thing. I have been made aware that in your world of Imeeji, you have something called "abilities." Normally, those would not work there, but I can make it so you are able to wield one of the abilities that belong to your unit.
You may choose one ability you would like to retain, and I shall generate an activation spell for you to use it.
[Please reply to this comment with your ability of choice! Remember that you need to make your decision before your run starts, and you won’t be able to change it once it does.]
