You awaken in the ☆ZRAEL dorm common room. It’s dark. Darker than usual, and the reason why is immediately apparent: the lamps are all extinguished, the stars have disappeared, and the moon has shifted to new. The ocean below the glass panes of the floor is silent and still. Everything feels cold and unmoving, not unlike a painting.

Was he ever there? Huh. Nemesis nods. "Yeah. You can get to the city or the forest from here, I think, if you follow the paths."

After a second though, she reaches up to cup Ashley's cheek, and pulls her forward to gently kiss her lips. "Be safe out there."

[she wasn't expecting that, so she just freezes up for a second, blinking in confusion]

[leans in to give her another quick peck on the lips herself]

She blushes, faintly, and says, "Good luck."

You exit through the cave opening ...

And abruptly stumble into the burned-out remains of a city. Skyscrapers are crumbling, but the bombs haven’t touched this place in a long time, by the looks of it. Plantlife is starting to grow and garbage and pieces of machinery have been abandoned where they lay.

[well, that was... abrupt. slows down her steps just a bit to take it all in, looking around]

What the hell...

There's trash and whatever remains of life that existed here, but at a passing glance, nothing else.

[cups her hands around her mouth]

Hellooo~? Anyone out here?

[time to start exploring the post-apocalyptic landscape, I guess]

As you wander deeper between the crumbling buildings you almost walk face-first into a boy with ruffled blonde hair, carrying a staff in both hands.

Hurricane startles. “Woah!” Then pauses, and grins. “-- Hey! Good timing."

[it's the boy!!!!

holds up a hand in greeting]

"If you're not too busy, could I get your help?"

Can you tell me where the True Heart is? That kind of takes priority right now.

"Uh... I really don't know. She's been gone for a while now."

Also the girl with the glasses and the arm was looking for you.

[points back where she came from, with her thumb]

"Nemesis? I'll go find her soon...

And uh, at least since I've been around."
