“Wait, Eugeo…What are we going to do about light?” Kirito asks, and Eugeo says he has it under control. He lifts up a stalk of grass, and chants:
“System Call! Lit Small Rod!”
The tip of the stalk of grass in Eugeo’s hand starts to glow. Once he is done, it has enough pale bluish light to illuminate a few yards ahead. He heads farther into the cave.
Kirito races to catch up alongside him. “Eu-Eugeo…what was that?”
Eugeo squints at him sternly, but there's a hint of pride tugging at his mouth. “A sacred art—a very easy one. I had to practice it a whole lot two years ago when I decided to come and get the Blue Rose Sword.”
“Sacred art…But…do you know the meaning of those words? Like system and rod…”
“Meaning? There’s no meaning; they’re just spellwords. They’re words you say to beseech God and receive a miraculous blessing..."
They disappear inside the cave, and their words fade.]
Yuuki? Are you coming?
[Eugeo is waiting for her in front of the cave, a glowing stalk of grass in his hand.]
[They go on! After a while, they can see a trace of blue light coming from the end of the tunnel, and when they get there this is what they see:
(Please ignore the children, children should stay home at night.) The floor in this space is covered with thick ice and there is a big skeleton with bones made of blue ice-- a dragon’s skeleton. There are assorted items and weapons around it.
There are four other tunnels connected to this dome-- one behind the skeleton’s back, one to its left, and one to its right.]
