Note: please be as cryptic as possible regarding any specific actions your character takes when discussing them in the game channel to avoid influencing everyone else!
[Christ on a cracker what's a demon supposed to do when he can't break taboos? He smiles~ And like, tries to. Straighten up and walk without falling over.]
[Yes, you can Feel The Eyes Of The Guard Following You, like you said something wrong again...
ANYWAY, you are now in Rulid Village! It’s a normal village, by which I mean it looks just like the Japanese idea of what a medieval European village should be. There aren’t many people outside at this time of the day.
The main path seems to lead to the main square, and also to the tallest building in the village-- you can see it from where you are, and it looks like a church. You can also go right, or follow the smell of bread.]
[On your way there, you can see several people setting up a stage and tables in the main square!
You look for the source of the breadsmells, and you find a bakery. Maybe. You can tell this should be a bakery because it smells like bread-- but not because of anything they have on display behind the window. After all, there’s nothing there, just empty trays.]
[Not everything is sold out inside, but most trays are empty and the only pieces of bread left are all the same-- rustic hard bread that looks suspiciously old.
There is a woman in there, she looks surprised to see someone coming in.]
[She seems surprised, and then she shifts on her seat and absently fixes her hair while speaking]
My, that is very nice of you to say. If you would like to buy some of our freshly baked bread, you should come in the morning. Most of it disappears around noon.
Oh yes, how could I resist coming here for such a joyous occasion? And almost as if fate willed it, I've already had my heart refreshed just by stepping inot your shop.
Would you tell me about how people here celebrate? If there are quirks to the local customs I wouldn't wish to offend.
How people celebrate? I didn't know it could be different in other places.
Here in Rulid, there is music and dancing, and food and drink for everyone. When the Bells of Time-Tolling play the 6PM melody, the Village Elder leads a prayer of Avi Admina, and everyone is free to eat after that. Parties go on until dawn, since they are only held before rest days... Is that any different where you come from?
I'm afraid we are not an important village... We are so close to the End Mountains and the Dark Territory that we don't get many visitors, so there is no place for that, except for the Church.

I'll be as straight-laced as a choirboy.
What are we celebrating?

Ah... Yes, I will be there. Are you here for the celebration as well? I don't remember seeing you before.

Tell me, dear, until the party starts is there anywhere a weary man might rest a little?

[she stands up, grabs a paper bag, and throws a piece of bread in there. she hands it to him]
In case you, ah... get hungry, before tonight, you can take this.
[because obviously there are no restaurants in this village either]
no subject
[Taking the bag and leaning in to give her hand a quick kiss.]
I shall be certain my next visit in the morning, when I can truly appreciate your radiance, the lovely dawn, and your exceptional breads all in one.

Ah--- That's--- not our custom...!
[she is so flustered and conflicted?!]
