As soon as you start to fall asleep, the world of Imeeji is engulfed by a bright light.

It’s strange, isn’t it? You have fallen asleep, and yet your consciousness is awake. You’re simply floating, waiting to remember what it’s like to exist. However, as you wait, a growing fear clutches at your chest. What if you don’t remember? What if you will always be empty? What if you never find what it is that you are looking for? What if you die? You aren’t sure, but you swear that you just heard someone singing . . . the words are incomprehensible, but it makes you feel something familiar . . . a feeling that makes you feel like you’ll find what you’re looking for . . . and that everything will be alright in the end . . .

What is that feeling?

When Angel’s voice fades, you recall yourself. Your person. Your identity. You’re awake now! The world is before you, and you can feel a growing sense of adventure flooding into your heart.

You’re standing on a circular platform facing a stage.

It is wonderfully bright and colorful with cheerful music playing all around you. The audience is cheering though you can't see their faces, but they're waving various colored glow sticks at you, creating fanchants with your name in it. Something beeps on your person, and you can find a phone lit up with a basic profile. This information is probably important to remember!

If you walk down the path and onto the stage, you'll find that there are two ways you can go.
► On the left, you see a long corridor, enclosed and semi-dark.
► On the right, you can see what looks to be a bright light that opens up to a familiar scene of the Imeeji Hotel Doors.

Behind you is just the white light that you saw at the beginning. It seems like the rest of the stage scene just fades out as if someone didn't finish painting the canvas.

checking his phone briefly, he scans the crowd... and seeing no one with. even a face to recognize, he decides he's getting out of here and looking for something familiar so.

he's going to the right, the imeeji doors are definitely familiar. ]

You find yourself walking into the Imeeji lobby.

The lobby has a desk with a map behind it that shows the location of each unit's floor and stairs to the video room. There is also a guestbook that you can sign with plenty of pencils. The kitchen and dining room are blocked off by a sign that says, “Dangerous. If allowed in, will potentially poison everyone by accident. Her cooking skills are no joke!”

By the entryway into the building, there's a seating area for you to loiter in, if you don't want to be in a unit only area or in a dining space. There's only one elevator nearby and another door that leads to the outside. It seems the elevator can lead you to wherever you want to go, just like normal: All of the team rooms, and strangely, at the very top is the game tower.

[ Oh boy a place to explore, past experience tells me to prepare for death. ]

[ Checking his phone, smiling a little at the 'magic of science' before quickly heading to the left because semi-dark areas mean it's easier to sneak about. ]

Angel...?

[Whatever it is, it's true that she does feel more hopeful about it, and Nemesis takes another quick glance around her before skimming over the profile. Charming dragons, huh? She'll take it. Stuffing her phone back into her tunic(?) pocket, she starts heading left, towards the hallways. Always better to go someplace they don't want you to be, right?]

You find yourself entering a labyrinth.

No matter where you go in this area, you’ll find that there is always a ceiling above your head. There IS a sky sometimes, but it's artificial. You might see a sun or moon and there are definitely stars, but you get the feeling that they aren’t exactly real physical things that you can visit in space. Likewise, you are almost always surrounded by walls of some sort. It might take you some walking, but you'll eventually run into that wall. That feeling of confinement is definitely real.

For a moment, you can hear Angel’s voice speaking: “Memories are like getting to visit your friends for a brief moment even if they aren't here . . . and I cherish them so very much.”

You feel happy to be here. It is home.

The door opens to an old pool area encompassed by trees, shrubbery, and plants. Flowers lay in bloom atop the murky water, flowing serenely with help from the piano fountain that pours in.

This is what said piano looks like.

► The exit lies on the opposite side of the room, past the pool.

[The dark corridor suddenly becomes bright...]

[ ... should he sign in as a guest? he lives here. ... but it's something to do with Angel, so maybe he doesn't. hm.

signs his name in the guestbook, "Prince Dandelion Dantalion Loki Kalervo Svantovit". in a pink pencil if they're colored. has anyone else signed, would he be able to see? ]

[You can in fact sign the guestbook, there are a few blank pages at the end.

On the book itself, it has the word "Friends" on the cover. You can see all of the various names from the people in Imeeji since the beginning, in order of arrival. The people who have left had their name crossed out. The first name is a whole sentence though:

"Hi! My name is Angel or QW5nZWw= but you can call me Angel! That's what most people do!"

If you make it to the last page, you'll find something else printed directly:
" . . . do you grow attached to people easily, Angel?"
"Of course. Everyone is wonderful in their own ways."
"Well! I have no intentions on leaving anytime soon."

But written beneath it:
"We probably won't see them again, will we?"
"Not unless we find a way to go to them, no."]

[ .... well great. now he's sad.

he considers the blank pages for a moment. .... before closing it again, deciding not to write anything more for now.

time to try and take the elevator to FiN. ]

[It's pretty, for all that it's a prison, and Nemesis takes a good look around. Even weird memory maze plants are nicer than most of fake Tokyo. She makes certain to breathe deep before checking out the pool and fountain more closely, pressing a few keys]

Don't think that's how a piano works.

hm. let's go right. ]

As one would expect of a unit named future is now, their dorm is all modern futuristic-- white with silver chrome. The furniture is all geometric shapes, as if drawn up with a very crude 3D modeling program, and all the lights are glowing cubes (that you can change the color on!). There is a sheep ottoman and also a couch. Their central table just a silver cube, with several smaller white cushion-topped cubes for chairs clustered around it. Beds in the bedroom touch only one wall, and don't touch the floor at all. Truly, the future is now.

However, there are changes around this place. All along the ceiling lie a bunch of origami, a thousand to be precise, with a bunch of different colors. One in particular seems different from all the rest, but for the rest of it, they seem fairly uniform. Plants grow along the wall and wrapping themselves around some of the chairs also. And though the light is artificial, it feels like the sun is basking down on you.

Despite the clean, slightly cold nature, that FIN is suppose to be, it is surprisingly very warm when you step in. For a moment, you can feel the rush of honest feelings overcome you.

You trust this world.

From here there are three doors:
► One seems slightly small to ward off tall people.
► One seems to be a shiny, technological lab door.
► One seems plain.

[Huh... She'll leave the chair be for a sec but try to actually play something...this outfit can probably get a little wet, it's cool. Slowly tries something that comes out awfully close to Heart and Soul, if very stilted]

You don't get much out of it, but you sort of can tell that this piano has been here for a long, long, long time.
