Nine-Nine Heart - Run 1

[It's time for a new an exciting place, right? A land of adventure and fun and excitement!

Wait? Then why does this look like Tokyo-F. Like a Tokyo-F that has seen better days.

A dark purple haze has settled over the city, thick and suffocating, oppressive and heavy. The sky above is filled with yawning teeth and blinking eyes stare back at you. Buildings lie in tatters and their remains litter the landscape.

A few proud buildings still stand tall! The most prominent one among them - THE GAME TOWER. Though it is sporting more of an evil villain castle vibe than you remember. And it certainly used to be taller and not leaking out that purple smoke filling the air. Nonetheless it stands as a beacon in the city, the focal point in the ruin around you.

A voice echos in your head. "Find the Dark Master."

GAME START!]

[A ghostly figure of … himself? appears above Anubis. A little younger, definitely tired, and looks like he’s gone through the wringer a bit, but that’s definitely Anubis. The ghost nods and holds out his hands. In flash of light the hourglass between Nine-Nine’s hands shatters, its effects terminated before they could even begin.

He looks at the other ghost accusingly and roars. (From inside the fish)]

“I was nice enough to let you play in my world... and you ingrates repay me by rebelling against the master! Death to all players! I'll bury you in eternal night!"

[Anubis’ ghost counterpart just shakes his head.]

“You knew it was always going to come to this. This game of yours. You never know when to stop.”

[The ghost!Anubis turns to look at party. He nods his head in thanks and gives settles his gaze on his double. He mouths him a thank you before turning back to the other ghost with a determined look. With a loud crack both ghosts shatter like glass, the pieces scattering to the winds.]
