[It's time for a new an exciting place, right? A land of adventure and fun and excitement!

Wait? Then why does this look like Tokyo-F. Like a Tokyo-F that has seen better days.

A dark purple haze has settled over the city, thick and suffocating, oppressive and heavy. The sky above is filled with yawning teeth and blinking eyes stare back at you. Buildings lie in tatters and their remains litter the landscape.

A few proud buildings still stand tall! The most prominent one among them - THE GAME TOWER. Though it is sporting more of an evil villain castle vibe than you remember. And it certainly used to be taller and not leaking out that purple smoke filling the air. Nonetheless it stands as a beacon in the city, the focal point in the ruin around you.

A voice echos in your head. "Find the Dark Master."

He's obviously compensating for a lot of things.

But don't hate him too much. He's still a part of what I am. And it looks like you had a lot of leverage in this game.

I don't hate him. I just think he's being a little unreasonable to the rest of you.

He is being a dick. Can't argue there.

Were you surprised by any of this?

[waggles his hand in a so-so gesture]

Some of it makes sense, some of it probably should surprise me but at this point that's become really hard to do. A some sort of manifestation of you versus the part of you that wants to destroy everything playing a game against each other? Not that surprising. Waking up in that game? A little surprising.

I should yell at the Producers for stealing all my fun. Though I imagine how I surprise you is a little different than how they do.

[Sighs.]

I suppose if they can fuck with our memories than can even go as far as this. I'm thrilled.

Your surprises are usually much more enjoyable than theirs.

[presses a kiss to Nine's forehead.]

I'm really, really not happy with them for pulling something like this.

It's fine. They dig too deep here and they really are going to get more than they asked for.

Think that goes the other way around. Couldn't really make out the board throughout the entire thing. He's a cheater. I shouldn't be surprised.

Had a stack of magic items but you all melted them to ash along with everything else.

[Making a motion to the crater in the center of the board.]

Wow, that is cheating. Um, it was Tokyo-F, but different. Sort of a darker, zombie apocalypse Tokyo-F, with audience ghouls and a lot of angry ghosts. There were some NPCs -- one that was basically him, the Egyptian thief, and some guy in a mask. They were trying to sacrifice the hosts.

Ha! Well, if there were any doubts that I do mean to take out the Producers I do hope that is cleared up. Probably would have had more Producers in there if they'd actually show their faces. Cowards.

Though, honestly if our positions were reversed, I'd cheat like that as well. Sometimes you have to play dirty.

Oh, I never doubted it.

I guess it It makes sense that you'd both cheat in the same way. You're both you. Aren't you?

Yeah. We're more blended than he'd like to admit. We aren't like Sunshine who I think has a separate demon. It's all mixed together.

Worried?

No, not really. Well-- maybe a little, but only in the sense that you're at war with yourself. That'd be worrying in anyone.

Ha. I'm sure you'll find this in many souls. If you can find me a soul without conflict, well, I'll give that person something. I'm not sure what yet.

I know, I know. It's just... I've never seen it so literally before, so of course I'm going to react to it.

Let's hope they don't make this a recurring thing. Can you imagine the mess we could cause walking into people's heads.

It would be a little fun. Admit it. Maybe we could get Persephone to be a little more chatty. Or get John to smile more often.
