[It's time for a new an exciting place, right? A land of adventure and fun and excitement!

Wait? Then why does this look like Tokyo-F. Like a Tokyo-F that has seen better days.

A dark purple haze has settled over the city, thick and suffocating, oppressive and heavy. The sky above is filled with yawning teeth and blinking eyes stare back at you. Buildings lie in tatters and their remains litter the landscape.

A few proud buildings still stand tall! The most prominent one among them - THE GAME TOWER. Though it is sporting more of an evil villain castle vibe than you remember. And it certainly used to be taller and not leaking out that purple smoke filling the air. Nonetheless it stands as a beacon in the city, the focal point in the ruin around you.

A voice echos in your head. "Find the Dark Master."

I hate to break it to you, but the's a part of what I am. I get the feeling that's the part you and King didn't agree with.

I'm pretty sure that was both of us. We aren't like Sunshine. There isn't a human with a demon inside. We are more of a mix.

A shame we can't keep you two apart somehow. Do you know anymore about any of us from having played this game?

I like to think we’re allies, but sometimes it’s hard to tell.

But then you killed me and your unitmates scolded me for it. I wonder if they berated you for not apologizing soon enough.

And then that memory....

I have a feeling while King is the one that ended my existence, you had no small hand in it.

Do you really think I intended to kill you, Nine? I was upset, but not that upset. And let's not forget what you did to my head out there in the sand.

You didn't have to give me the eye or the ring, Nine, but you did, because you were hoping to accomplish something when we unlocked King's memories and I seriously doubt your objective aligned with whatever King's was.

No, I didn't think you did. The fact that you did AND you didn't mean to actually makes it worse. It means you can't read the situation or you let your emotions run wild. Had you killed me out in the sand, I wouldn't even bring this up. You came to me for an alliance and I thought we were in it together. So why raise a hand against me? Still mad at the sand. If so, you should have been against me, not with me.

No. They probably didn't. I was probably an asshole. But ... knowing that you would go that far is unsettling.

I did let my emotions get the better of me and I realize that now. I couldn’t help it then. A lot happened. Kept happening. I can’t change what I did, but I can try to be better because of it. I don’t want to make those same mistakes. And I wasn’t mad about the sand then. I didn’t even know what you did. Only what I thought I did.

Going how far? Sending him off? I don't have all the answers, because I don't have all my memories. Given the option now I wouldn't, but that... that... [ doesn't matter now. ]

Don't tell me you didn't figure it out. Don't you think it was odd that I wasn't there to send King off? Because those items belong to me. Not to him. Now why do you think I wouldn't be there?

You think those items belonged to you? The Ring, maybe, but all of them? Anyway, your spirit is tied to the Ring, right, kind of like King's is tied to the puzzle, so... you think, what, I killed you or something? I don't know what could have happened, especially since you'd said you'd give me the Ring eventually.
