[It's time for a new an exciting place, right? A land of adventure and fun and excitement!

Wait? Then why does this look like Tokyo-F. Like a Tokyo-F that has seen better days.

A dark purple haze has settled over the city, thick and suffocating, oppressive and heavy. The sky above is filled with yawning teeth and blinking eyes stare back at you. Buildings lie in tatters and their remains litter the landscape.

A few proud buildings still stand tall! The most prominent one among them - THE GAME TOWER. Though it is sporting more of an evil villain castle vibe than you remember. And it certainly used to be taller and not leaking out that purple smoke filling the air. Nonetheless it stands as a beacon in the city, the focal point in the ruin around you.

A voice echos in your head. "Find the Dark Master."

I think it could work better. He seems like... he's trying to be seen as a lot more evil than he is. Maybe he is actually a terrible demon who's done horrible things in the past... and maybe he's even still capable of them. But... I'm an assassin, so I can't judge that too much. And he's also capable of being kind.

But it's not like I know all the details of what that would mean.

And your circumstances are a bit different. I don't think had you grown up where you did, you would have ended up an assassin. It looked like it was forced upon you.

This guy, though, he'd take being a demon any day.

Do you get to choose if you're a demon or not?

I have no fuckin' clue. And I probably won't be spending my Hell's wish on that.

Maybe I just don't get the nuances, but I don't think whether you're a demon or not is important compared to what you actually do. You've been nice to me. He's been nice to me.

Maybe. Maybe not.

But he'd sell your soul for a toothpick if it was part of his agenda.

Is it part of his agenda?

Fuck if I know. Ask him.

Interested in his agenda? I already know what it is. He wants full control and I won't let him have it.

Or were you speaking about his agenda in being nice to you?

His agenda more generally. What would he do once he had control? Would it require selling my soul for a toothpick?

He'd want to regain his true power. The ones that the Producers stole form him. Basically, he'd join the large pissing contests the Demon Princes seem to have started. And if selling out any of the idols would bring him closer to that goal, I'm quite sure he'd take it.

[rollplayinghouse]

And what would he do with that power?

I think most people assume that he would use it to destroy everything. I'm not convinced.

But I'm sure he wouldn't bow down to anyone's rule. So good luck trying to make him a good citizen anywhere.

Are you planning to be a good citizen somewhere?

Ha! Depends. Do I have all of you to keep me in check?

Then I'll be a citizen somewhere. Probably not a particularly good one, but not one that is going to cause more trouble than a few eye rolls from the authorities.
