Nine-Nine Heart - Run 2

[It's time for a new an exciting place, right? A land of adventure and fun and excitement!

Wait? Then why does this look like Tokyo-F. Like a Tokyo-F that has seen better days.

A dark purple haze has settled over the city, thick and suffocating, oppressive and heavy. The sky above is filled with yawning teeth and blinking eyes stare back at you. Buildings lie in tatters and their remains litter the landscape.

A few proud buildings still stand tall! The most prominent one among them - THE GAME TOWER. Though it is sporting more of an evil villain castle vibe than you remember. And it certainly used to be taller and not leaking out that purple smoke filling the air. Nonetheless it stands as a beacon in the city, the focal point in the ruin around you.

A voice echos in your head. "Find the Dark Master."

GAME START!]

[He points at the mirrors.]

When he touches it ....

Also that guy in a red cloak that just showed up has Asmodeus on a noose being dragged by a horse if that interests you, too.]

he turns back to the mirror, regarding it for a second before he pulls his arm back to punch it, THOUGH. HE HALTS HIMSELF AT THE LAST SECOND.

this doesn't feel right]

[The Mage is still muttering but eventually gets up and points to the mirror.]

[B is gone. You thought you saw Nem for a second but now can definitely see up above a broken stain glass window.]

[... I took my eyes off B only for a moment omfg.

he does notice the window, though he only spares it a cursory glance to not draw attention to it. did B go through there...? is Exael still on the ground?

eventually he turns to the mage, frowning]

It's pretty solid.

"I saw no attempt from you."

[SCORN SCORN SCORN]

[narrows his eyes. that's a challenge, even if this wall probably isn't a bad thing.

he'll punch it for real this time]

[Hairline cracks begin to form in a section of the wall distorting your reflection.

And he does get that sense from the memory.]

"AHA SEE. Success. Again!"

They're trying to summon some dark lord who's gonna kill everyone who won't take his side.

Nem says they got stuff set up for a blood sacrifice in there.

[And you know. There's bodies, so.]

I know they were trying to summon someone, to overthrow the producers.

[pauses]

Have you seen B? He was with me, but... I don't know if he went in by the window or not.

That guy - [Points at the Thief King.] - says the dark lord's gonna overthrow the producers. Anyone who wants to swear to him'll probably be fine, but everyone else'll just be dead.

I haven't seen B at all.

I'm not surprised. None of this sound like a good idea.

He was right here... [... he did talk about planning to take Exael's place, so. :/]
