[The moment you step through the door, a bright flash of light blinds you as your consciousness fades away…
When you wake up, you find yourself lying on the grass, next to what appears to be a river. You can hear birds, the rustling of leaves, the water… Everything is beautiful. If it wasn’t as cold as it is, this place might as well be paradise.
Unless you were already wearing one before, you are now wearing a nice Taisho-colored scarf! There is also a paper bag next to you… with three (3) meat buns inside. But due to the current weather, they're not warm anymore. Sorry...]

[Most of the birds are mingling around a big tree, and Okami can hear baby birds chirping hungrily-- some other birds seem to be flying uphill. If Okami looks at the ground, he may be able to notice that the grass seems... shorter? Weaker? It looks like someone always takes this path to the river, and the grass knows it. It leads downhill.]

They jump out and dive back into the water, and if you know about fish and you realize these are not freshwater fish, well... They don't know that! Who's going to tell them? They're just doing their own thing in this extremely chilly water.
In fact, now that he's close, Okami may be able to notice some bits of ice floating downstream. How is that possible? Who knows?]

The monstrous tree he first saw is now little more than a gigantic trunk, pruned to exaggeration. It has a couple of branches in moss green and cotton candy pink color, and more than a few in navy blue color. In fact, it looks like the navy blue color is starting to spread onto the trunk.]

[Sol is approaching a dying bonfire, in Taisho clothing and wearing a big scarf around his neck that you may have seen him wear before. He's carrying some silver and bronze branches.
He turns around to look at him, and now Okami can see that he’s wearing an eyepatch on his right eye. He has dark bags under his eyes... well, eye... and he looks paler than usual. His clothes are torn and have traces of dry blood on them.]
