Alright, let's go spelunking! Cobalt approaches the cave. It's very dark, and his grass stalk does not seem to be illuminating as much as he'd be comfortable with. For every step deeper he goes, the darker it gets, and the louder every single one of Cobalt's instincts start screaming at him about the perils of dark places.
It starts getting a little too loud to ignore.
He's barely left the range of the ambient light outside before his footsteps begin to falter, and then stop.

He returns to the mouth of the cave and plucks another stalk. Now that he knows the magic words work, and he has a very powerful desire for light, he's going to try the System Call again on the second stem.]
