It’s strange, isn’t it? You have fallen asleep, and yet your consciousness is awake. You’re simply floating, waiting to remember what it’s like to exist. However, as you wait, a growing fear clutches at your chest. What if you don’t remember? What if you will always be empty? What if you never find what it is that you are looking for? What if you die? Now that the most pressing task has been dealt with, she'll head over to the tube of water in the corner to see if there's some way to deal with the fire.]

Unfortunately, the rest of the glass just spider web cracks and completely shatters as the water busts out. You're gonna get a little wet.

[Mission accomplished. Being a little bit soaked doesn't seem to bother her, and she puts her shoe back on and goes over to look at the mannequin pile.]

Angel approached a woman at the ball who had been waving to her. They dance a little bit and speak small chatter when the other woman says something that might be considered alarming:
"I could kill you with the wink of an eye..."
Dusk's eyes widen into a different kind of expression, almost as if recalling something from very very far away, and she takes steps back, smiles gracing her face. She knows this woman. "It's a very nice party so why would you? It's nice to meet you again though~! The dress is still very pretty!"
But Angel's eyes have a different kind of fierceness all of a sudden, huh!
"Again, you say..." With her poisonous grin the woman bears her sharp fangs. A high-pitched giggle escapes her lips. "This dress is the only one I can fit into, I'm afraid, but I am so very glad you like it... Miss [ ]."
And suddenly, a man who was conversing with a wolf man (the on you saw when you sat in the chairs) raises his hands towards the ceiling that's been painted to look like the sky, and with a voice that booms across the room like a thunderstorm, he shouts:
"Everyone, attack!"
His hands glow, sending electric sparks bouncing across the ballroom, striking down half of the people. The band stops playing, their bodies and instruments dropping to the floor with heavy thuds.
You couldn't save them either.

...You have a lot of guilt. That's no good, for a ruler. You may have failed before, but if you let that consume you, you'll paralyze yourself and not be able to do anything. On the other hand, going through a hell of your own making and coming out the other side is the best way to gain power.
[And with that she leaves the mannequins to go look at the window.]
