Nine-Nine Heart - Run 3

[It's time for a new an exciting place, right? A land of adventure and fun and excitement!

Wait? Then why does this look like Tokyo-F. Like a Tokyo-F that has seen better days.

A dark purple haze has settled over the city, thick and suffocating, oppressive and heavy. The sky above is filled with yawning teeth and blinking eyes stare back at you. Buildings lie in tatters and their remains litter the landscape.

A few proud buildings still stand tall! The most prominent one among them - THE GAME TOWER. Though it is sporting more of an evil villain castle vibe than you remember. And it certainly used to be taller and not leaking out that purple smoke filling the air. Nonetheless it stands as a beacon in the city, the focal point in the ruin around you.

A voice echos in your head. "Find the Dark Master."

GAME START!]

[Has no idea wtf is happening or why, tbh.]

The hell?

[She is maybe a bit disoriented as she tries to dodge the Audience]

[The blob with your face is able to grab a hold of your legs. It begins oozing through the floor, holding on tight. Trying to take you with it.]

[MECHANICS: Roll another defense check. If someone assists, roll twice and take the better of the two.]

[ Tatsuya was looking around when he spies-- ]

Silk-san!

[ He's going to try and hit the blob from behind (2+3 for attack with Character ATK of 7). ]

[rolled a 6 for Defense this time!]

[Making a move to escape as Tatsuya attacks]

[The attack from behind distracts it. It doesn't exactly turn to face Tatsuya, but Silk is able to scramble out of its grasp. It lurches forward failing to grab purchase. Upon hitting the dirt, it turns to ash at your feet.]

[ok well that's weird and disturbing]

What the hell is going on?

[ This is the second time he's seen one of these things disintegrate. It's no less creepy the second time. ]

No idea. Silk-san... We should probably stick together.
