[It's time for a new an exciting place, right? A land of adventure and fun and excitement!

Wait? Then why does this look like Tokyo-F. Like a Tokyo-F that has seen better days.

A dark purple haze has settled over the city, thick and suffocating, oppressive and heavy. The sky above is filled with yawning teeth and blinking eyes stare back at you. Buildings lie in tatters and their remains litter the landscape.

A few proud buildings still stand tall! The most prominent one among them - THE GAME TOWER. Though it is sporting more of an evil villain castle vibe than you remember. And it certainly used to be taller and not leaking out that purple smoke filling the air. Nonetheless it stands as a beacon in the city, the focal point in the ruin around you.

A voice echos in your head. "Find the Dark Master."

He doesn't remember. By bit by bit, he will regain what was lost to him.

If you’re so sure that would change his mind would you really need to do all this?

Too many from his world want to forget the past memories. I cannot allow that to happen.

And you’re afraid of losing that control because now Nine has friends who are cuter than you.

[It's really in a blink of an eye, but he switched back to a more human form.]

As I said, he came to me. He has a goal. And I told him I'd help him fulfill it. It is our contract.

And what do you lose if his goals change or he finds another way to get what he wants?

Once he remembers his goals I promise you it will not change. He was desperate enough to come to me after all. And to chase that goal being bound to an artifact for thousands of years.

And if he finds another way. Well.... I'll shake that person's hand.

Okay, so why are you afraid?

[because she still thinks he’s afraid]

Because as he is bound to me, I am bound to him. I'm not like the demons of hell here, those low lifes. I do not contract on a whim nor break contract on a whim.

You’re not making sense. If you’re so confident it’ll be fine once he remembers everything, then why go to all this trouble? Just be patient.

In all of his time here he has only taken two memories. I believe I have been patient. He spends his funds mostly on endeavors to leave this place which I can't fault too much.

I’ve only taken four myself. It’s easy to get distracted.

You have a manner of influence over him. Keep him less distracted.

I’m not going to tell him what to do. That’s not how Bad End works.

I wouldn't call us a family. We may be forced together in the same way as one, but family doesn't mean you have to get along. We're more than that.... Bad End isn't a family, we're friends. And I think that's much more precious.

We have differing opinions but we're able to compromise with each other. There's nothing wrong with that.

Are you really? I'd take a good long look at all of them. I think you'll find that statement to be incorrect.
