When the game starts, you find something grabbing onto your ankle and dragging you under the ballpit until you find yourself sitting on a disco floor platform with your team. It is only being held up by eleven balloons.

You make decisions on a cool arcade machine where you can SELECT A TEAM'S BALLOON. If a character is blind or has no hands or smth, you can assume things can be read to you and you can automatically pick through your speech. Thanks, Alexa.

It is possible we could be made into a scapegoat. The target of another unit's idea to pop at least two balloons to save themselves the first round in.

After all... despite all the friends Angel had made, there were units who weren't opposed to targeting her unit.

This is not far from unimaginable.

We are capable of making others into scapegoats too. I don't think anyone is safe, in the end. We are picking teams based on our thought they might not be targeted, but perhaps other teams are thinking the same. We don't know that.

Let's protect ourselves from being another unit's scapegoat.

We protect ourselves, and try to play in a way that would minimize the amount of units dying. That's all we can do. People will die regardless, but that doesn't mean we should actively try to take out more than necessary.

I understand that--! But we cannot put our trust into anyone but ourselves. Everyone wants to protect those closest to them. Where does Future is Now come into their priorities?

Where do other teams come into our priorities? Everyone will want to protect themselves, no one is going to afford being able to do much else than that... I have friends I want to protect on other units, but I can't do that.

We're targeting Pep!pep! and AlcheME! in the first round. Both teams where I have close friends.

You cannot call what I exhibit "kindness." I, too, do not think anyone deserves to die... and yet I encouraged us to move forward with hurting more units only to save ourselves.

Saving ourselves is a priority. As it is for most other teams too.
