Heart Soldier Senshi

[ The door leads to a room with a big whiteboard and several colored dry-erase markers (your position colors, interestingly!) waiting for you. In permanent ink the whiteboard is divided into two sides: the left says "BATTLE PLAN" and the right says "VOTING". Under "BATTLE PLAN", there's a helpful quote of, "HOW DO WE GET THE CROWD TO LOVE US?"

Well. That's the million dollar question, isn't it?

There are fold-up chairs all around as well as a table, as if this is a Very Important Meeting. In the corner there's a crate, full of things that you might . . . need? No real weapons are inside of the crate, but if you root around, you can pretty much find anything or a cardboard version of everything - like there's no food there but you could totally get a cardboard burger.

You can leave the room if you want to, to mingle with other people. ]

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. If we do it that way, we could get everyone else involved too, the other units might have more fun if they can get involved.

If we're allowed to do that, then a cooperative display would be more interesting, anyway. We're supposed to be about helping others.

That's too bad. We could have used that smoke bomb ability. He would have made an excellent villain, too.

[ AND THEN GIL RE-READS THE RULES AND SEES WE CAN ONLY USE OUR POWERS ON OURSELVES ]

Who knows, maybe he'll gatecrash the performance as the final boss at the last minute?

If not... I can be the villain. Maybe it could be something like, I'm corrupting innocent people into my minions with potions, and we - er, you, the heroes, need everyone's help to stop me.

Hmmm.

We want the audience to love all of us.

[ a villain who just corrupts innocent people... the audience might end up disliking mori, then, and that's no good. ]

... Perhaps, instead of a strict villain, you are a comrade of ours who has lost his way. We're here to set you back onto the path of righteousness, and this is a story of your redemption. We could fight against you, in the beginning, but when violence doesn't solve the problem--Wire is forced to use his Buddy Bond to open your heart!

Ah, that's a good plan, I like it.

I wanted to use Be-kun's sparkles somehow, I was going to ask him for some light and dark versions. Something that flashy would be popular, so maybe a Henshin sequence gone wrong? We start to transform for the weapons display, but, something goes wrong and I become corrupted. And then I start corrupting the rest of the team, so two of you have to turn to the audience and ask for their help in saving us before it's too late.

We could give the audience little foam balls to throw at us, or nerf guns or something, and if we cover those in glitter that could be the 'purification' that saves us. Like, they have to save Wire-san, but because I'm the root of it, it's had a hold of me too long, you have to use the Bond to get me to open up my heart again? We could write in a heartfelt ending there.

[ YEAH ]

I think we've got something!

Oh - hold on, apparently we can't use AlcheME's sparkles.

That's fine! We'll just have to use ordinary glitter instead.

... What about fireworks?

[ just what do we have access to, exactly? ]

Hitting us with fireworks might be dangerous, but that wouldn't make for a bad finale. In the background, please.

No, I don't mean hit you with them!

[ LAUGHING like c'mon? ]

I just mean, if we could set them off around you all when you transform, that would be a lot of flashy colors, wouldn't it?

What about flashy fireworks for everyone's transformation, but when it comes to my 'corrupted' one instead there's smoke and um, maybe lightning effects? And then at the finale, we can set off even more fireworks.
