When the game starts, you find something grabbing onto your ankle and dragging you under the ballpit until you find yourself sitting on a disco floor platform with your team. It is only being held up by eleven balloons.

You make decisions on a cool arcade machine where you can SELECT A TEAM'S BALLOON. If a character is blind or has no hands or smth, you can assume things can be read to you and you can automatically pick through your speech. Thanks, Alexa.

If you look over the platform, you can see a lot of sparkling rainbow spikes below.

Why? What would that do besides hurt you and Rise more? I'm sure she thinks you're gonna murder her someday, so why not surprise her?

Three reasons.

[counts off on his fingers:]

One. I can handle people I care about dying better than you.

Two. You're right, she probably does expect that. And she can handle it if that happens.

Three. We're not a first priority for them, so there won't be any kind of betrayal involved.

Why?

The most obvious reason is that I don't want you to do something you're gonna regret. How many times have you felt like you had to do something for us and then been miserable for it later?

And besides, I don't like it. Obviously I'd pick future is now over all those other units, but as far as I know, avante is the second closest thing we have to an ally.
