....... if people continue to vote high then whatever we play will probably also be randomized. Especially if we vote against the three we did last time... they must have played higher than us, or the same as us.

Even if we play that 8 how can we know it won't just hit HSS again?

...that is the crux of the problem.

Do we play low, knowing it will be deflected and leaving ourselves open, or do we protect ourselves at the cost of someone else?
