[ When you next open your eyes, you find yourself standing in a hallway of stained glass windows; the door behind you closes completely shut before disappearing, you in a corridor that leads to nowhere. You're stranded, here . . . wherever you are . . . ?

The light that reflects through the glass is a gentle one, and the whole place seems to glow, almost binding in illumination - it's been recently swept here, or otherwise recently polished so everything isn't so musty; still, there's a distinct feeling of heaviness in the air. One could almost mistake the feeling for reverence.

There's only one direction: forward, into the light. ]

[ Beyond the door is what looks like an underground cavern, somehow stowed away into the building - well, it's Heaven, after all. The walls are expansive, reaching out and beyond, and on the marble ground are what seem to be natural springs of water, countless in their number. Some exude steam, as if a hot spring, but by and large this room's temperature is somewhere between "musty rain" and "tropical summer storm". In other words, does it really matter, it's just really moist in here?

There's just enough fog and steam that it's hard to tell what else is in this room. What is this . . . for. ]

he reaches down to put his hand through one of the springs of water. one of the ones that isn't steaming, but he's still prepared to pull his hand back if it's too hot. ]

he has no idea, so just in case, he's taking out one of the bottles Intensity gave him and filling it with water from the spring. ]

[ doo-do-doo! he will go ahead and fill up the second bottle, too—if it turns out this isn't what he needs, he can just dump it later. then he tucks both bottles back inside his coat.

... now, what to do. he could just fumble around until he (hopefully) finds something, but that seems like such a pain. after considering for a moment, he flicks his hands upwards, attempting to make all the fog and steam rise upwards to the top of the cavern. he has no idea if Verticality can work on things that aren't solid—he's never tried—but hey, it's at least worth a shot. ]

[ Man Eater is raising up the water, so - the water vapor rises up, floating up and up to the top of the cavern. The rest of the cavern is laid bare for you to see.

Ridged stalagnates decorate the nearest third of the cavern, unlit candles standing on each ridge. With your vision cleared, you can also see every pool is marked with some sort of unreadable glyphs, with metal discs planted on the ground in front of all of them.

A little ways away, there seems to be some sort of netting that ties from one pillar to the other. ]

This water is set specifically to exorcise angels with demonic infections. It shouldn't take that long for you to be cleansed here. Besides, there are plenty of healing pools for me, too.
