[ The light which spread everywhere intensifies, gaining not just brightness but color. It focuses with its intensity, golden lines swarming your vision. And where the gold coalesces, it leaves space between with a black that opens out like a sea, sweeping across your vision as your eyes adjust until you can see the truth of your new surroundings.
The golden bars are not the gates that welcomed you in.
They're the bars to a cell you've been dumped in with your unfortunate compatriots. A cell that sits in an inky sea of darkness, broken up not by light across objects in your vision but by brilliant colors each so solid that the darkness cannot cover them up. And, in your vision, guarding the cage is a figure, with six wings, each as golden as the bars. Their eyes are a milky expanse of white-blue light, emanating outwards, like they've caught you in headlights.
A jailer's keyring sits at their waist. ]

Re: THE CELL
Attempting to go through his uniform pockets herself to find a key or something :F]
Re: THE CELL
Furthermore, the bars have no keyhole. ]
Re: THE CELL
What's your problem, anyway?!
[Also trying to get some help dealing with those cuffs, though.]
Re: THE CELL
[ But okay, while she's getting those off he's going to be getting Requiem out of the cell to get her call.
The overloaded knife should cut through them ]
Re: THE CELL
Assuming the other guard is still busy with Leo, she's gonna take a quick look around for anything that might deactivate the bars -- Intensity said it should be glowing lines they could disrupt, anything like that around. . .?
Also, you know, any place to hide for when the guards come back would also be a good plan.]
Re: THE CELL
The guards still have not left. ]
Re: THE CELL
And with both guards there she'll just stay still and quiet since she can't deal with two, but still quickly scanning the room -- are there any places to hide, anything other than the elevator door as an exit, does the cellevator have a hatch at the top like some do?]
Re: THE CELL
Re: THE CELL
Hey. Unmotivated guy, come here? Please? I just–– I need to talk to you for a sec.
[Sounding young and a little nervous and contrite which is 100% legit really.]
Re: THE CELL
[ yeah he's not moving. ]
Re: THE CELL
I don't want to announce it for everyone to hear!
Re: THE CELL
[ He does not sound like he thinks this is unfortunate ]
Re: THE CELL
[Scratches at the side of her head with her foot claws like the ridiculously flexible catperson she is. Except, you know, she puppets him while doing it, so hopefully he enjoys the physical gymnastics involved in smacking himself in the head with his own toes.]
Re: THE CELL
Covers himself with a wing for modesty, please. ]

Re: THE CELL
[If puppeting works, then maybe In a Sentimental Mood will. So she drops the puppeting in favour of giving a memory block a shot, blocking herself from his recent recollection, if she can manage it.]

Re: THE CELL
Waiting until they both appear distracted enough that she can slip around like she'd totally just gotten off the elevator really nothing suspicious here, then clasping her wrists behind her back so the cuffs aren't immediately visible before addressing the angels.]
Hey. They sent me here to, like, check on you guys? Something about an overdue report? Everything cool?
Re: THE CELL
The man is assessing the situation while the woman immediately starts talking]
How the hell would you know! If we didn't report who told you that!
[ the man interrupts before she can keep talking and says: ]
She's in the cell.
Re: THE CELL
I'm clearly not in the cell.
Re: THE CELL
You didn't arrive through the door.
Re: THE CELL
It's moving so fast because Talon has manifested his bat wings to launch himself across the room as fast as he can, collar open and ready to snap shut around the man's neck just as he crashes directly into him with as much momentum as he's managed to gather ]
