GM Game: LiliS

[ The door shuts behind you, leaving you in a copy of this room. Upon one of the fancy tables is your card for the round, along with slots for each unit for you to go slide in your choices.

You can come and go as you will, but once you have left the room, you cannot speak of anything that transpires within: not your choices, not your discussion, not your alliances.

Do your best, idol-tachi. ]

Mm, it's all basically just....assumptions.

Ah, well. That's no different from the other rounds, and so far, our guesses and assumptions have been fair.

There's no reason to think things will go terribly wrong now, of all times.

Ah, that's true.

So long as we are cautious and do not falter... I believe we will be okay.

[Certainly better off than the other units, sweats]

Mm. We just have to maintain.

Indeed. We should be cautious not to end up with too high of a score and invite retribution--but thus far, we've been relatively lucky.

[Especially when seeing all of the blood and misery everyone else has suffered through.]

We can only hope nobody else has taken notice of how lucky we are as well.

Do you think we should only play two cards? The rounds have proven on average we take ten points of damage per round but what if no one hits us this round?

I believe receiving a harmful card would be worse than having a deficit to make up next round--so perhaps two cards would be best. We've been steadily climbing, and it is impossible to know what will happen to the front runners.

I like three cards to increase our chances of blocking, is my main thought.

I worry that the teams that are high in points will play hard out of fear. And the teams that are low in points will also play hard. Everyone might feel bad about hitting a team low on points, but also people might not hit the teams high on points for fear they'll get dogpiled. I guess my concern is teams like us, in the middle, will be hit by both those sides.

Mm, I certainly understand that fear. My only concern is that the likelihood of blocking seems slim...so we shouldn't hinge our decisions on that. That is all.

... I don't believe this round is too dangerous regardless of what we decide, so I won't argue using three still. We can adjust next round.

Unfortunately there's no way of knowing. We get hit with 10 points per round on average, but there's no way to know for sure we'll get hit with ten points this round, even though we have every other round.

Correct... So for now, we can play cautiously.

Next round, we will reevaluate.

Mm, I'll talk to the others and enter our decision then.
