GM Game: Heart Soldier Senshi
[ The door shuts behind you, leaving you in a copy of this room. Upon one of the fancy tables is your card for the round, along with slots for each unit for you to go slide in your choices.
You can come and go as you will, but once you have left the room, you cannot speak of anything that transpires within: not your choices, not your discussion, not your alliances.
Do your best, idol-tachi. ]

Re: VOTE!!
[squints a bit at King]
You sure?
D.Va is suggesting sensitIV because they can heal.
Re: VOTE!!
[ . . . ]
But I have no objections to sensitIV either - if Hiryuu doesn't.
Re: VOTE!!
Yeah. My thoughts, too.
I'd choose sensitIV myself, but only if Hiryuu is okay with it.

y'all are killing herrrrr.... ]
I offered both of the units that I wanted to protect the most for the highest cards already. I thought it was known that aside from YOUkai the other was sensitIV--but I didn't explicitly state it.
[ so that... she supposes... is on her. ]
I stand by my word. I don't object to sensitIV.
[ she just feels dead inside. ]
... I am, however, concerned about targeting BARiTONES. It's not an objection specifically, but--given their massive unpopularity, either hits are going to be deflected or they're going to get creamed and likely radicalize in retaliation. If that's the route we want to take we should be prepared for things to go wrong.
[ Not that they probably won't already... but. y'know. ]

. . . we wanted to make sure. That's all.
[and then there's a lengthy pause before he responds to the second thing she says]
My reasons for wanting to hit BARiTONES are extremely personal.
[but he doesn't elaborate, though the way he sets his jaw and the dark shadow that crosses his expression probably says enough]

Listen she gets personal things but
since when??? ]
... This isn't about that auction game, is it?
[ she thought we were all over that. ]
no subject
[oh he had forgotten about that. shakes his head]
No. This is about something else.
. . . I can't say anymore than that.
no subject
If you can't say anymore than that, then I assume it's for good reason, but--you're suggesting that we target a unit that's known for having been petty and volatile in the past. I can only imagine what it is that has you bearing a grudge against them, but--are you sure it's worth risking retaliation for it in this game? They might end up killing us, you know.
no subject
And I'm not afraid of them. Hell, I actually like some of them.
[and that's why this is a Bad Decision, purposefully targeting a team with people he likes on it to get back at One Person]
But if they retaliate, I'll take the hit.

[ Honestly, she's thinking this is a bad idea herself, but. Mars is the sort of person who will just get more stubborn about it if you say so. ]
... Just please don't do anything you're going to regret later.
no subject
[an exhale, and he scrubs his face with one hand]
. . . I don't like living with regrets. I will own my choices, as selfish and awful as they are.
no subject
... You know, I worry about that too, some.

What? Why does that worry you?

I'm not gonna let anyone else get hurt for my grudges, though.
