Don't underestimate yourself just because you don't got wings. We're really not any more or less anything than humans, and the same thing applies to humans just as much as to me. I just ain't storytellin' with them cuz it ain't my place to. Not my story.

[He goes over to Pink then, clapping a hand on his shoulder and giving it a reassuring squeeze. He's probably not qualified to do any more any way, but really.. He's always fond of humans, and the kind who yell about "not being good at love" especially.

For the record though, I'm not gonna have any hard feelings about this. I just think that you and I both know that you didn't have to play the murder card. Maybe the other ones were worse somehow, and I respect you at least facing your victim, but in the end you're still killing a guy over a game where the prize is essentially money.

What he feels first isn't the sting of electricity, but his pulse picking up suddenly despite the fact that he's calm and hasn't been doing anything strenuous. Pink has used Get Hype on just his heart to double the speed of it--stressing it and creating an unnatural rhythm--he only allows that to go for maybe a second or two before he hits him with the second ability, pulses of electricity that disrupt the heart's workings, making it quite literally flutter and fail at effectively moving blood the way it should, inducing ventricular fibrillation.

The body's reaction to heart pain and failing bloodflow is certainly not entirely pleasant, shooting numbness in the limbs and so on, but he'll be unconscious shortly.]

[Lucifer knew it wouldn't be fun, and it isn't. He tries not to make too much of a face about it, so that when he finally falls unconscious, he's still seated and looking fairly comfortable.

It's fine, it'll be just like he's sleeping- that's his last thought as he grits his teeth against the inevitable, closing his eyes on his own before his consciousness fades.]

[Pink... has to go on with it a little while longer, moving to carefully make sure he doesn't slump when he goes unconscious. It takes a little over six minutes for brain-death to happen, but he needs to make sure any nervous-system activity stops asking the heart to keep trying to pump when the disruption stops, so he stays there, hand over Lucifer's heart, waiting.

It feels like forever, listening to himself breathe.

Eventually he reaches to take Lucifer's pulse.. and there's nothing.]
