[ once he's done taking care of the restraints, he takes a step back himself, shifting into a fighting stance, ready to spring forward. ]

he drops his stance just long enough to shoot him an exasperated look. ]

You really don't get how this works, do you?

If there's a way to avoid it, I will do so! Or do you want to harm someone else? People in this place...

[ and since he's not interested in arguing about the merits of pacifism any more than that, whether Souma is ready and willing or not, Man☆Eater rushes forward to try and sweep his feet out from under him. ]

[he's not entirely ready, so he does go down with a surprised noise, but not without grabbing onto Man-Eater either for balance or just taking him down with him]

Gyahaha—!

[ Souma's grip does manage to throw him off balance slightly, but he shifts his center of gravity to use his momentum to his advantage, maneuvering to land on top of Souma with a knee to the gut and reaching out to grab his throat in the same motion. ]

[grunts in pain at the hit and coughs as air is knocked out of him, with no time to react to the choke hold. he doesn't waste any time struggling after he gets his bearings, wheezing a little as he reaches up to grab at Man-Eaters arm to pull him off, twisting his body in an attempt to unbalance him]

Ghhk... get off of me—

Oof—

[ he's nearly unbalanced when Souma pulls him by the arm and struggles underneath him, but he responds quickly by twisting around himself, shifting his weight so he's pinning Souma firmly to the ground underneath his hips. ]

Lights...

[ then he slides his hand from around Souma's throat to grab his face, slamming his head mercilessly against the floor. ]

Out!

[he lets out another noise of pain, hands briefly slacking around Man-Eater's arm. he tries to struggle weakly as realization kicks in that he can't get out of this, head ringing from the blow.

trying to talk is kind of futile with that hand over his face but what if he tries to bite him? (it's a valiant attempt at least)]

[ Man☆Eater hisses as Souma's teeth dig into his hand and very briefly reels back, but he comes back even more vicious than before. he slams Souma's head against the floor again—this time hard enough to be accompanied by a sharp crack. ]

[any sound he was making is cut off in a strangled choke and he just stares straight up, eyes wide and unseeing, fingers scrambling and slipping against Man-Eaters arm as his his arms go slack]

[ he slams it again. and again.

to make completely sure he's dead. so that this doesn't drag out any longer than it needs to. ]
