[Instinctively, he raises his weapon up to block when his vision goes dark - but it'd be easy for her to get past his defenses when he can't tell where she's coming from. He takes the blow with a pained grunt, beaten back a step.

The other Griffin, unable to wield his weapon with any semblance of finesse while blind, drops the weapon and just lunges for the both of them, trying to grab Azalea.]

[The only thing she has is speed and finesse, nothing more; if he manages to get his hands on her, it's all over, she thinks.

But this isn't about winning the fight, is it?

The other Griffin lunges, and she dives to try to get out of the way... and if she manages that? She's going to tuck and roll to her feet to just sprint for the button.]

[Griffin collides with them and...

disappears. Just evaporates into a burst of sparks and embers on contact.

He has no idea where she is now, but he suspects she's near her goal. With that in mind, he relaxes completely - just, laughs. And his weapons vanish as well.]

[From the back of his belt loop, he takes out a shortsword - a real one, this time. In its hilt is carved the image of falcons. Lightly, he tosses it at her.]
