[ The room is BRIGHT YELLOW, as all the rooms you will enter are. Black tiles make up the floor, changing to your unit's color when pressure is placed on them. There is a button in the very center of the room standing on a podium; it's slightly smaller than palm-sized.]

Hallucination - Shark
No one would look at you. No one would hear you. Even though you tried so hard to yell with your tiny voice, no one would hear you at all.
The bird on your shoulder tweeted a melody, and no one would hear it. Just like you, it was ignored—
Were you too plain? Was the tune just so forgettable? Who could say? —no one would answer you, so you could never know.
You were just like this bird.
You just wanted someone to hear you, for someone to notice you. But—
But, you never meant for it to be this way. You never meant to hurt anyone to get that attention—you just couldn't help feeling that ugly jealousy, festering in your heart. They were all so much brighter than you, so much more noticeable, with more beautiful tunes than the ones you could sing—and they hardly noticed you either, so you silently cursed them in your heart.
Who knew those curses would come to hurt them? —it couldn't be your fault, right? You weren't the one responsible for this game, this horrible nightmare, it's the Producers' fault for taking inspiration from your ugliest thoughts, but you still can't help thinking—
It's because you were jealous of them.
It's because you cursed them.
You recall the look of their shock and pain, when they finally hear you—and the words they hear are like knives that cut them down, adding injury to injury. You didn't think they'd hear you—and yet, they did.
This isn't how you wanted to be seen—you never wanted to hurt them.
You just wanted to stand out, a little.
The bird is locked away in its cage and so are you, left to clutch the bars while you watch everyone else—your unitmates, your friends, your loved ones—pull themselves back together.
