[ Tenses, a little-- not afraid of her but maybe just afraid of her reaction-- and remains where she is, frowning. ]

[Reaches up to cup her cheek, gentle]

[ melts into it a little, lowering her eyes, and just reaches up to settle her hand against Nem's. ]

... I can't hurt you again.

[just stays like that for a few beats, before moving her hand to Req's waist, walking them back towards the button]

...Don't worry. I'm not worried.

[ mmmmm tenses again, unsure what she's... thinking? but lets Nem lead her, curling her fingers into her coat. ]

[Just smiles, genuine, before shifting her hand to grip Req's wrist instead, and yanking her to slam onto the button]

[ -- TRIED TO YANK HER HAND BACK IN TIME and,

fails to do this.

and just stares at their hands, horrified. ]

[Keeps her eyes on Req, smile a little crooked--eventually moves to give her hand a squeeze instead.

She is still smiling when the floor opens and swallows her up.]
