[ The room is BRIGHT YELLOW, as all the rooms you will enter are. Black tiles make up the floor, changing to your unit's color when pressure is placed on them. There is a button in the very center of the room standing on a podium; it's slightly smaller than palm-sized.]

I left it in my other coat, not realizing I would need to duel my way out of several life-or-death scenarios today.

[ He pulls out the dice, though. ]

[ Tossing a dice at him, fully expecting he'll snatch it out of the air. ]

In the previous round, we simply rolled for the highest number.

[And catch it, he does]

[ He turns his dice over and over between his thumb and index finger, then lifts his hand. ]

Three... two...

One.

[At least he doesn't dice roll like fucking Bakura.

And when it rolls to a stop, it's a respectable '4']

[ King lets his own dice go, watching as it clatters...

For a perfect six. ]

[Because of course it is.

And he just laughs:]

Have you been rolling like that all day?

[ And King... chuckles a little, though it's a morbid chuckle. ]

Maybe I'm just lucky when it counts.

Don't jinx it just yet.

You still have some ways to go.

[ Catching Intensity's hand in his. ]

[Just looks at it with a raised eyebrow. Even as he laces his fingers with King]

Don't get sentimental on me now.

You say that as if it's not my default state.

[ Said as he yanks Intensity's hand over -- and uses it to slam down the button. ]

[Give him a second to process that]

[Okay.

There it is]

[Shoving King away from him]

Best two out of three!

[He says as if the button hadn't already been pressed]

[ He stumbles back, but the words get him to laugh outright.

Oh, Intensity. ]

After this is over, you can have as many rounds as you like.
